BREAKING : ALEC Baldwin kills a cinematographer on set of new film.

Sometimes they have complete looking rounds with no powder to show a character loading a gun. The blanks have no projectile, just a cardboard patch. Brandon Lee was killed when a projectile dislodged in the cylinder. When they loaded the black behind it, it made a complete bullet. Lodged in his spine and he bled to death.

Brandon was either, really, really, really bad luck or a set up.
Everyone thinks he died in the scene where he gets shot 100 times in the bad guys headquarters. It was actually a different scene. he walks in on them raping his girl and they shoot him though a paper bag with his groceries. The scene was never used.

Thanks for explaining the "prop ammunition" make-up and
how it could discharge as a projectile to injure/kill someone.

The "prop gun" could also be replaced with the same
model/weight REAL gun and the actor (if he/she were in a
rush to do the scene) might never catch on that it was
swapped out. In that case it would be for sure a SET UP
so that someone would be injured/killed.

I will never look at this gif the same way again...
I could see the trauma of this "accident" cutting short
Baldwin's career. That would be very sad. He's not a
favorite by any means (though I loved the part he played
in "The Edge" with Anthony Hopkins) but he is very talented.

This is not the first time this has happened, Brandon Lee was killed this exact same way on a movie set.
This happened also at a time when Lets Go Brandon is what everyone is saying.

You know....Alec IS a brilliant method actor.

Maybe he was just doing this to really get into his character?
