Don't you realize it takes retailers for you to get your favorite products like Mt. Dew? But is PepsiCo a PRODUCER in the purest sense? They do produce the golden juice prized by many but they also distribute to the mega retailers where you buy (or in your case, steal) the stuff and PepsiCo intends to make a big profit. PepsiCo cannot just make Mt. Dew out of thin air so they need the help of other producers of products. They have to obtain the sugar, sodium benzoate, brominated vegetable oil, calcium disodium EDTA, yellow 5, etc. to make it. They absolutely DO make more on the final product than they pay for the ingredients. According to your paradigm, this is just wrong and you expect the folks at PepsiCo to give you the golden juice you desire for FREE because they are making money by marking up products. If you are to live by your own logic, you will need to OBTAIN the aforementioned list of ingredients yourself to make your own Mt. Dew thereby supporting your stance that ONLY true producers deserve to make a profit.

Not on purpose, but I once walked out with a large Coleman cooler that took up more than half the cart.

There was nothing inside it because I wasn't getting a lot of stuff. I rang up all my normal sized grocery stuff then paid and rolled out. It was something about the size and platform nature of the item - it didn't register to me as groceries (and I may have been a little buzzed, too).

Surprising that nobody stopped me or even checked my receipt with such a large object!
