Why do you think mankind needs saving?

The world is on fire, due to the negligence and destructive nature of our species.
We need a new way.
We need God.
We need morals.
We need Truth and we need to value one another over material possessions and money, the roots of all evil.
We need to care and love and show compassion and have the will and resolve to change this world permanently, holistically, now and forever more.

Nah, just get everyone to record their life and when they die save it. One day when everyone is dead Aliens will look at them and if were were entertaining enough they might also save the records.

There is no saving the human race, you evolve or die off.

This is exactly right. Humans should wake up cold and hungry every morning, just like every other animal. This planet is much more enjoyable when you embrace the adventure.
