The price is unstable, its too low of a value, and circulating supply is too high. And you have to pay ethereum fees on top of that.

For example, simply transfering a small amount of Shiba between wallets costs $5 in fees. Who is going to be stupid enough to pay $5 transaction fees for a item payment.

Especially when there are cryptos (like XRP, XLM, ALGO, etc) where the fees are 0.0002 cents.
