One thing for sure ... offer people free food and prizes and they will show up and roll up their sleeves. It was interesting to observe the age brackets that did participate. Quoting: Old Grouch From the three venues that I visited, it appeared that mostly people over 40 years old showed up. Quite a few of those were over 65 years of age. I was only at all three venues for a short amount of time. My age estimate could be somewhat off...but close enough. The library venue I did not go into, I just drove by. So I really can't give any age observation from that venue. Being that it's now November, I will have to see if the City of Norman offers turkey dinners this month. Good video, Old Grouch! Did the city finally expand that old library? I followed that story for a while after we moved away from Norman but the last I heard, a measure to fund a new library had failed. That was a few years back so I hope they did finally build it - they needed it badly!! |

I think they might have re-purposed the old library. |

Yeah that's what I thought I was seeing, that they built onto the south end of it. Cool! |
