The sodium will kill you. Dont take it, eat leafy greens, less meat n sugar if you want alkaline.

This is very interesting it's always the cheap simple things they work. I am addicted to Alka Seltzer GUM which I am sure must have some sodium Bicarbonate. When they took Zantac off the market cuz it caused cancer ( yeah right, more like it created a crypto storm in your gut that stopped covid dead in its tracks!) I Googled what can I take in place of Zantac and alka seltzer GUM came up, never knew of it but sure enough it was OTC in antacid section, not cheap but keeps my gut and appetite stable so worth it to me.
Well, suddenly it's all off the shelves!!! I can only get it from Amazon. If you go to digestive section they took away

-all sugar free antacid tablets
-alka seltzer GUM

( sugar causes cancer so they want you sucking sugar only)

ive been taking baking soda with some regularity for years. its best to sit straight up for the following few minutes until you clear the burps. i get heart burn to the point i would ave to take 10 tums to calm it down. now i just take a heaping spoonful of baking soda and wash it down with a pint of water. go sit on the couch and burp out the gas. instant relief.

No, the sodium will not kill you, but it is less than optimal. Use potassium bicarb instead.

I bought some of this stuff when covid first started because of a glp thread. It was a story about a lady that gave her family this stuff every morning in 1918 and none of them caught the spanish flu. I can't seem to find it though.

I never took it, I just wanted it on hand.

I went on a baking soda craze a few years ago. I can't understate how good I felt and how much energy I had. I was literally bouncing I had so much energy. Seems like I need to begin anew. Word of warning. It is addicting.

My mix is: 13 oz cold water in 16 oz glass. Add 2-3 teaspoons of baking soda, some OG blackstrap molasses and some OG Grade B Maple Syrup and stir until well mixed. The baking soda tastes awful so the molasses and maple syrup make it easier to get down.

It does have a laxative effect for the 1st 2-3 hours afterwards for the 1st couple of times. Drink on an empty stomach, 1st thing in the am.

What about 5g acidosis from blocked oxygen?

Not sure about CoV, but I’ve been using baking soda and pure maple syrup for years to eliminate infections and/or indigestion when they pop up. After using it to cure what I believed to be oral cancer several years ago, it has been about the only “medicine” I will take. It works!

Bob's Red Mill does not have aluminum whereas Arm and Hammer does. Beware of it. Of course they claim otherwise. It's the oxygen that is the curative factor. Another misconception is that heartburn is from too much acid in your stomach but the opposite is true. It needs acid! That's where apple cider vinegar comes in.
