it sounds more akin to her establishing a character reference for Huber, but without her being at the riots, or having video, it seems pointless since Huber is NOT on trial, unless this is his defense for a curfew ticket?

I believe that to be true that Rosembaum may have never actually contacted the gun. But the other guy Anthony Huber is the guy in the photo with Kyle laying on his back. I believe he argument the state tried to make was that Huber never grabbed his gun because there was inconclusive DNA evidence from him. The defense destroyed that argument by showing the photo and having the states witness confirm that he is indeed holding the gun, and that the part of the barrel that he was holding was never swabbed to be tested. So it appears this is another witness that hasn't helped the state once again.

Yeah that witness seemed to be kind of a waste of time. Not sure what she contributed to the state's case.

Huber was a skate or die kinda guy

I think the defense is going to chew this witness up also. The prosecution is intentionally leading her to only say things that make Huber look like some kind of saint.

Judge is about to put an end to Susans long story telling answers.

They may go easy on her because she is a Family Member of one of the deceased. Maybe even pass on cross examination because it looks bad to the Jury.

We saw that happen in the Derek Chauvin trial.

How long is the break?

Breaks are usually 15 minutes.
Lunch is usually 45 minutes.

Rittenhouse raising the gun to any of the people -> first aggressor. Didn't happen. Grosskreutz was the first aggressor. Whether or not Grosskreutz thought he was tackling a mass shooter or not, whether he not he was a villain or a hero in his mindset, it doesn't invalidate Rittenhouse's claims to self-defense. The judge should strike down this testimony. I personally don't view Grosskreutz as a bad person committing a bad act. He may have legitimately thought he was being heroic based on what the mob were chanting. It is immaterial to whether or not Kyle Rittenhouse was an aggressor.

Very true and even then Rittenhouse was looking to avoid further trouble by trying to turn himself over to the police. It may not seem so cut and dry to everyone, but the mob that followed Rittenhouse and eventually caught him seemed to have other intentions than to just disarm him.

Even if he thought he was going to be a hero you are right, trying to disarm someone based on calls of get him, I believe that he didn't witness the events prior so it won't bode well for anybody considering the police were down the street and many had phones in their hands which they could of followed Kyle and called 911. Especially the fact at the time Kyle wasn't shooting but retreating towards the police. I guess you could claim they were trying to do a citizens arrest but there are very strict laws regarding how and when you can do that. One of them is actually being a witness to a crime, not just because someone says get him.

I know for a fact that I wouldn't put myself in harm's way because some people are yelling get him when I can clearly see him being armed. It's not my job nor am I trained and qualified to disarm someone. I'm going to keep my distance and let the police handle it, that is their job not mine.

Defense just told the Judge if he allows State to continue with Character testimony he will introduce two arrest records where Huber attacked someone.

I am glad this defense attorney is bringing that up. I would think if someone is trying to testify to the merits or otherwise of a person, living or dead, then they should also be able to bring to light their shortcomings and police records.

So the prosecution just invited the testimony of Huber's past by jumping the gun with great aunt testimony?
