Historical Jerusalem is not the Jerusalem meant where God's true two witnesses will be killed.

Only false teachers believe and teach such a fallacy. People who falsely claim to be God's foretold witnesses also reveal themselves to be false if they go to historical Israel and Jerusalem in their misconception that the great city of Rev 11:8 is Jerusalem.

In the "great city" there is just one street, and it is called "the street", whereas in historical Jerusalem there are many streets!

In New Jerusalem there is also just one street, as seen in Rev 21:21, which is pure gold. This street of Gold is opposite to the one in which the dead "body" (not bodies) of the two witnesses will lie.

Their "soul", on the contrary, will be on the opposite street, which is pure gold.

So do not blink at this biblical fact!!!

If I may the word "eremon" in the Greek has been bothering me a bit lately. I was reading a bit In Revelation 17 and the 3rd verse struck me. I looked in the Darby bible and found instead of "widerness" it was written there as "desert".
So I went to the Greek along with the Strong's and found that "eremon" can mean either wilderness or desert.

Let God's true Word instruct us!

First of all, John was carried away in the spirit into the wilderness (he eremos, which in Greek takes the accusative form (eremon) because of the preposition "eis ((in)to).

This "eremos" is no literal eremos but a spiritual one, a place abandoned and desolate. Why so?

You know from Scripture that all places where God's true gospel is not found in he hearts of mankind is a desert and an eremos.

When the true apostolic Church was overcome according to Scripture by false teachers it became a desert, in this case being the fact about the New Testament Church when the beast of Rev 13 overcame her and was given to rule her for "42 months".

The Gentile world became a desert in the spiriual sense in spite of God having planted the true gospel and doctrine in that world. This time period of "42 months" is what becomes the time period of the sixth trumpet (Rev 9:13).

When the time period of the Gentiles ends there comes one more time period that lasts for "42 months", the one starting with the sounding of the seventh trumpet. It will be the time period of the church in historical Israel. Why so?

Because in spite of the biblical fact that the woman already was in the desert she could nevertheless still flee "into the desert" according to Rev 12:6 and Rev 12:14. Since the Jews rejected Jesus Christ and denied that He was their promised Messiah Israel became a spiritual desert. But since the true gospel had started in Israel it will return again to Israel, as seen in Rom 11:25-26, which by then still will be a spiritual desert, for according to God's promises her place is there.

Therefore, this is the true meaning of the desert(s) in question.

God's witnesses come from the north country according to prophecy, as you can see when reading Psalm 75:6:



The only place left from where truth and its being lifted up can come is the north country, and exactly that is what Scripture tells all People.

So, pay heed to the truth and live!
