Harper: Breaking news — Carmelo Anthony played for the Trail Blazers recently. Remember that?

It happened. I saw it. In fact, you probably saw it and remember it, at least vaguely. It started back in November 2019 — Nov. 19, to be exact. Anthony signed with Portland and played that day. It didn’t go great. He scored 10 points on 14 shots and had more turnovers (five) than rebounds (four). But he got out there after not playing for a year. He revived his career, and it appears to be something a lot of people have forgotten as he shines in a super-sub role with the Los Angeles Lakers.
