Heparin works faster than warfarin, so it is usually given in situations where an immediate effect is desired. Good to know all this deadly-ness can be beaten by ....aspirin.... Quoting: Sol-tari I guess heparin has to be injected so it prob cannot be taken at home by someone, making it an impractical treatment unless hospitalized. Warfarin might be able to be taken at home but seems like the person has to be monitored to avoid any dangerous conditions. Looks like alcohol is dangerous to mix w it. Doesn’t seem like it’s very practical for anyone to take them at home or even obtain them. Any ideas? Wonder if garlic supplements are effective?
