This is a correct assessment, although Belarus/Poland is a manufactured crisis that is unlikely to actually lead to anything serious.

I have suspected for a few years now that Russia and China are colluding and will make simultaneous moves on Ukraine and Taiwan in hopes of confusing and overwhelming any western response.
