Correct, this has been a thing since I went to university back in the early 90's. Very common, especially with certain fraternities and, well, with our Rugby House. But then again, the pack isn't known to be the most in shape types and ruggers in general will hit anything, much like Lance Corporals in Onslow County, NC.
