I’ve tried to explain— to reassure them making baby comfortable won’t make him die— and the rich one looked terrified and said well this is what the rule is now— and the poor one said well of social services found out they could take him away.

If social workers found out baby slept face down, they could take him away.

If community college dimwits found out...she could have the baby taken away.
