We can start by asking everyone, including our ownselves, just how honest, sensible, rational, practical, ethical and empathetic we all are.

We better realize that cheap platitudes of "I care, I feel, I want to help you, I have good intentions" don't mean a goddamn thing if the person saying those things lacks the important traits listed above.

Not to put too fine a point on it, but fireworks can EASILY kill a person or destroy property when used for that purpose. Why in the Hell do you think simple bottle rockets have been outlawed in many U.S. states for decades and all other fireworks so heavily regulated?

A handful of those little bamboo sticks [that cost about a buck] tied together and fired as a single projectile can quickly become lethal. And three bucks of common firecrackers can do the same fucking thing.

That's why laws are specifically written to classify fireworks as "incendiary devices" and carry such hefty penalties when criminally used -because in the "wrong" hands they quickly become deadly weapons.
