My boss told me I had to take a shot to keep my job. I didn't do it, I filed a religious exemption, and no one said anything, but then I quit a month later anyway, because everything was just too bizarre and uncomfortable.

I was peaceful about all of it and mostly very quiet.

Been gone from there for about a month and a half.

Lately when I'm reading all these controversies, I've let myself feel the anger and outrage that she thought she could dictate what medical treatments I had to be subjected to.

Who did she think she was?

It's not any kind of state or local law, there's no ordinance or mandate that applied to our situation.

They came up with that one all by themselves, willingly.

I didn't bother feeling expressing anger at the time because I knew any kind of argument would be a disaster and less than unproductive.

But now that I have some distance from the situation, I'm more appalled and disgusted and pissed off every day.

It was all so insulting and humiliating really.

To feel like I as some kind of leper when I was probably the healthiest person in the whole place.
