The art of conversation/discussion is a trait lacking in many. Don't be like Jack Do you think they knew what a comet impact would be like? Did they even know then, what a comet was other than a light in the sky moving along with a tail? These people back then were ignorant. They had no clue the earth was round, no clue this planet moved around the sun, and that the sun was moving through space. They didn't even know what space is. That is what they want you to believe.
