They (rich billionaires, industrialists, etc) arent just building rockets for fun, or exploration (in the pure sense), or fame...its for money, and materials.

There are space rocks spinning around out there made up of hundreds, and even thousands of Trillions of dollars worth of materials (gold, silver, etc).

So the logical conclusion can be made that the same tech that will let them harness, manipulate, and trap such asteroids...

Will give them the ability to turn them into meteors, and launch them with pinpoint accuracy at Earth targets.

This is a biblical power. We are currently living under the rule of another "biblical" power as we speak...thats not biblical at all, but man made, and incredibly dangerous...

I believe its just the start. They have much more dangerous bioweapons available...they are just inherently too dangerous, and unpredictable.

Meanwhile, fitting an Asteroid with some boosters, and computing its trajectory and impact on Earth is fairly safe.

The Bible seemed like magic 2000 years ago.

Now its seems pretty much easily reproduced ALL through human means. Fire and Brimstone...Easy. Plagues? Yea got those. EQ machines, weather control...Im pretty certain if we applied ourselves we could turn water into wine.

There is really very little mystical "power" in the bible anymore, when you compare it to what we can achieve by human hands...

Resurrection? Probably advanced CPR techniques, etc.

I think we are in a terrible position where the powers of the world, have technological advances, that make them priest-kings of a sort, that can fool anyone.

I can imagine what it would be like dealing with an AI..and that would probably be pretty close, something thats NOT human, but with human intelligence.

I dont fault anyone for believing things that happen in these later days...If your eyes, ears, touch decieve you, if it can all be easily "deep faked" in one way or another...even your brainwaves...emotions...
