I can prove how long Jesus meant when he would return and come "in his kingdom" here and here is how!

Matthew 25:13

So when did Jesus say he was going to come in his glory and with the angels? Well it is easy lets go back to previous verses I have stated over and over…

Matthew 16:27 For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels; and then he shall reward every man according to his works.

Matthew 16:28 Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Again Jesus says here that some of the people he is speaking too will NOT DIE UNTIL THEY SEE the son of man come in glory with all the angels and to judge men in his kingdom! This was supposed to happen 2000 years ago! Because some of those people he was speaking too would die and some would still be alive in THAT TIME OR GENERATION!


And when was that last generation? Well Jesus tells everybody so it should be obvious... what generation was an evil generation ?

lets look at John 21:18-24 again. And I will show how this PROVES my point about Jesus and WHEN he said he was coming and what his followers believed!

So Jesus said this to Peter to let him know how he would die and it may not be how he wants die! So we are talking about death!

Peter is asking about John and how he would die. What kind of death would he die is what Peter is asking here...And if it would be a martyr death or not?!?!

So essentially Peter is asking if John is going to die soon and if it is a death to glorify god. Jesus said back to Peter that IF HE(i.e. JESUS) WANTED TO KEEP JOHN ALIVE UNTIL HE COMES BACK(remember his coming in clouds, in power and glory with angels, etc. etc.) THEN WHAT IS THAT TO PETER? In other words its none of your business Peter. WHy would Jesus even say anything about his coming back if it was not expected with the lifetime of his followers? THE FACT IS HE WOULDNT BECAUSE JESUS SAID HE WOULD RETURN IN THE LIFETIME OF HIS FOLLOWERS! AND PETER NEVER QUESTIONED IT AND NEITHER DID THE WRITER JOHN!

However, those who willingly lose their lives for His sake will find true life. In saying this, Jesus changed the stakes. Death to self is required to follow Him, yes, but it is also required to find the life that is truly life. In other words, Jesus says that following Him comes at the terrible cost of losing oneself, but the alternative is to permanently lose one's life.

Jesus will make clear in the following verses that this loss of life for those who do not take the hard path of following Him will come at the judgment by Jesus and His angels (Matthew 16:27).

And where he went when he ‘ascended into Heaven’ is where we (everyone) goes after death. He proved to them that the soul/spirit lives on after death and does not die.
