It isn't the sex work that really is problem in my opinion, it's the poisoned mind that embraces their addictions and elevates it above their dignity or self respect. Laws like this are a band-aid to the real problem. The problem is, dinner or a show is not an appropriate first date. Movies are also a no go until you know someone.

You meet for a coffee or in a park or casual cafe for lunch on a nice day. You have at least three short casual dates of 2 hours tops before you start with formal dating over the course of hours at a time. You get to know someone. If they don't really want to get to know you, they won't last to the third casual date.

If you are gong to have resentments about paying for someone, don't ask them on an expensive dinner date.
