The Solomon Islanders are much smarter than most of us, and have realised that the two are intrinsically linked.
China believes that it has bought the entire farm, and wants to take over with no livestock on the land.

I was there with the NZ army in 2005. The locals had had enough with the chinese as they own most of the businesses in Honiara.
They burnt chinatown to the ground and all the chinese pers had to be protected by us.
