I've been to India three times, adopted two children from bengal. Have hundreds of Indian friends, I know their mindset. Not only that, but in 1981, on pilgrimage in Mayapura, the authorities told everyone to stay indoors after sundown because the Naxalites, a dangerous communist group were abducting people. We heard that they bombed a police precinct two towns over. So yeah, India is a special kind of place, and the politicians no well the dangers of angering the citizenry. Then after some years, let gates come in and pad their pockets with the next up death serum. |
