Infected With COVID-19 And Already Vaccinated Three Times, Czech President Milos Zeman Rushed To Hospital


President Zeman has received coronavirus vaccines three times, local media citing unnamed sources as saying the president is asymptomatic.

News website www.seznamzpravy.cz quoted UVN Director Miroslav Zavoral, who is Zeman's primary doctor, as saying the president had received visits during his previous hospitalization, taking tests for COVID-19 after 'risky contact with employees in Lany.

He was taken to the hospital to receive treatment with monoclonal antibodies, he said.

Zeman supports mandatory vaccination if there's a new Covid wave

Czech President Miloš Zeman would support compulsory vaccination should another wave of the coronavirus pandemic arise but said making vaccination obligatory isn’t necessary currently. The president made these remarks in his weekly interview for Czech tabloid Blesk. To the complicated question of obligatory vaccination, he said there is no clear answer, adding that it’s necessary to appeal to people to undergo vaccination. Zeman revealed that he would be re-vaccinated next spring. Prime Minister Andrej Babiš (ANO) said in July that coronavirus vaccination would not be obligatory under the present government.
