Theta.tv is merely a concept website / prototype of what Theta Network can do. Theta Network is a system that is the basis for youtubes, netflixes, and Amazon videos, etc. It runs in the background.

It's not well known yet.
It's waiting behind the curtain, to step on stage.

You forgot to mention Theta Drop and the NFTs.

Theta is more of an application then a token. Has customers like Google and Disney already using heir technology.
Basically, it is used to re-distribute bandwidth to those in need and pay those with surplus with Tfuel.
It's either Theta technology or rebuild infrastructure to meet demand which is cost prohibitive.
None of the existing cryptos will exist if the bandwidth issue ins not addressed.

No US exchange currently has Theta. Easiest way to get Theta is to buy another crypto like Litecoin or XRP and swap it for Theta at one of the trusted swap sites (I use Changeangel.io or Simpleswap.io).

Theta hit a high of approx. $15 in the spring however has consolidated in the $6-$8 range since then as the team continued working on various roadmap milestones, partnerships and it's NFT platform. All signs point to significant growth in 2022. Wouldn't surprise me if it is $100+ by this time next year.

Mainnet 3.0 got delayed. There was huge hype for a Mainnet launch earlier, but it didn't come until June...which apparently put a pin in the excitement.

I'm not sure if that's actually the reason for the drop, but if I remember correctly, when the delay was announced, that's when the price started to fall.

I just came across a token called Pitquidity.io on Twitter. they have tokenized their trading account, and instead of the profits going to Goldman Sachs or some other bank trading desk, the profits get airdropped to the holders.
