For most part, Theta Token must be obtained outside the USA.

I use a broker, not an exchange. Won't say the name, won't promote them here. You'll find it.

However, I have always wondered about mass adoption for chinaman blockchain companies such as Theta and even VeChain.

Will it ever happen?

On Dec 1 2022, Theta Network will release Metachain 4.0, which will, in my opinion, be the REAL starting point of Theta's usefulness. (for staking 10,000 Theta Token plus staking 1,000 Theta Token to run a validator node (11,000 Theta Token altogether)), ANYONE will be able to activate a subchain on the Theta Network and conduct business on it. There has been nothing like this, ever before.
Corporations will want one of these Theta Network sub-chains, just to remove themselves from the technical logistics of the blockchain itself, so it does not look like the corporation is manipulating things by running their own blockchain)

Do you happen to know what the Initial Allocation (what I really want to know is what percentage was allocated to the Theta team) of Theta tokens were? I'm trying to figure out if it will be deemed a Security by the SEC.

And they filed exempt paperwork with SEC (and I'm not sure what exactly that means)

It could be bullish but I think a lot is going to depend on how the XRP lawsuit turns out. If Ripple loses it could be bad for all crypto deemed securities, at least for a while. Mark Moss seems to think that there will not be another crypto bull run (although, he believes there will be another Bitcoin bull run) because he thinks most all the cryptos will be declared a security. IDK?

Theta Token is more a utility token that is used to stake Theta Network node software to its network. It's not used as currency for the most part, but could be of course.

One factor that MIGHT make Theta Token seem like a security is that "profit is expected", oftentimes, when investing in Theta Token.

However soon corporations will be buying at least 11,000 Theta Token, because that is what it takes to stake a sub chain to the Theta Network starting Dec. 1, 6 days from right now. (and in these cases, profit will not be expected, because they will not be selling it ever, they will hold it and use it to stake (enable) their node software.

Theta Network has been on the ball and brilliant from the beginning to avoid legal hassles of any form, plus they seem to be supported from TPTB. Theta is gonna go big while everything else is falling apart.

I tend to agree with most everything you said. In fact, I'm hoping that it goes down to sub 50 cents so I can back up the truck. Although I am buying at these prices as well.

I would get a bag now. When corporations and investors figure out what Theta Network is, and when the whales decide to throw in, it will never come to this low of a price again.

I'm fairly confident that we will see sub $14000 bitcoin and maybe even sub 12k. If we do we'll probably see 60 cent Theta.

BTW, I just gave this post 2 five star ratings and I'll try and give it some more later.

Theta Token will decouple from Bitcoin.

No hell no, it was as high as $14/THETA Coin and their is also THETA fuel as high as $0.22 now about $0.05 or a nickel.

THETA coin is about $1.00 now, the fuel was actually better performing over the period.
