Bolsonaro: Brazilian Supreme Court opens investigation into vaccine comments

Brazil's Supreme Court has opened an inquiry into comments made by President Jair Bolsonaro wrongly claiming that Covid-19 vaccines may increase the chance of contracting Aids.

No international media outlet says this, but Brazil has been ruled by the opposition using the Supreme Court to overturn government decisions in the past 2 years. They try everything to discredit Bolsonaro, especially with the upcoming elections.

At the same time, Bolsonaro is known for his poor choice of words. However, Bolsonaro was a strong advocate for not doing lockdowns due to the effects on the economy and people’s mental health.
