The Monk User ID: 325665 United States 01/31/2008 01:04 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Philip J. Corso - Reverse Engineering the Roswell Crash I'm watching a documentary on him. He said he lead a group at the Pentagon that researched and distributed technology from the Roswell crash to private industry that lead to lasers, integrated circuits, kevlar, fiber optics, etc.
I think he's probably telling the truth as far as he knows it, but given the testimony of the technology historians I think Corso's program didn't really have the impact he thinks it had. His efforts probably amounted to little more than a side show to the people in industry that were exposed to it. All of these technologies were already in development and the breakthroughs are well documented.
However, the American Computer story is really baffling. |

Corso - Reverse Engineering the Roswell Crash Go buy his book if you like that documentary it's called Day after Roswell it's an excellent read. He died a year after the book came out. I owned 2 copies but lend them both out, I must get another copy. My favorite UFO book. |
