Everytime I remembered that encounter we had I've fealt like I wanted to punt him across Walmart lol. He was a good guy though...but boy for that one instant was he mad at me. gs (OP) User ID: 81451744 United States 12/08/2021 01:50 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | oh and then a chick with a credit card came into buy an Oculus and she asked me "hey is this the VR everyone talking about?" it was the week after and I said "honestly, i don't really know." and she grimmaced and said "I'm going to hold you to that." I put my head down and said "I know." Lol. She ended up buying it. I think it happened on a tuesday and that was the friday when she came by. When I was at wal-mart I pretty much spent an hour or two awake, went to bed, and woke up about a hour and a half before shift started...so I didn't really do too much online or much of anything really until the weekends. Then I had to quick do everything lol! |

Quoting: gs 81451744 straight out of college with my 2nd degree i worked at a local wal-mart for a year or so, overnights electronics. one night i was asking the shift manager about two different VR systems we had because I had been questioned the previous night about them and I had to tell the customer that I honestly didn't know anything about VR and I had fealt bad not giving them any usable information. well about 15 seconds into that conversation a customer walked by with her cart and smiled and i was just continuing to talk. the manager got really mad at me and actually took me by the right arm (softly though) and said "you don't speak business in front of the customers man. that's not good. you keep walmart business away from the customers. they're suppose to just run along by their stuff and have a good time. if we get in the way that's less money in your pocket." he was quite pertrubed with me. but i was still had questions about the VR so i continued the question. he really didn't know anything either about VR and headsets and which of the 2 models we were offering or selling and anything outside of what's printed on the box...so he took it upon himself to spend a few hours (the rest of the shift practically) to go online in the manager's office and just I guess google VR stuff lol. but his mentality...the one wal-mart instilled in him...that's a prime example or limelight of the world we are in right now. I suggest you make it a point to learn all you can about the major problems your sad little gov't. group is having right now and then stand in the lobby of whatever municipal hovel you occupy and chat, chat, chat the livelong day about what's not going right. Do that with whoever your keeper is and see how it goes. "Socialism only works in two places: Heaven where they don't need it and hell, where they already have it."
