In south eastern Pennsylvania outside of Philly. Saw shooting stars heading west/southwest around 11:15 pm. Low orbit and no apparent break up but the tail was short lived.

Just got home (south Florida) from Orlando, it was crazy!!!!! One after another one....

Im in New Mexico in the monzano mountain range at about 8k in my driveway. Ive never seen a meteor shower like this in all my years. A meteor nearly every ten seconds!! I have night vision goggles on it is the most amazing thing ive ever seen.

Where is it recording the sound from?

One of the biggest meteor showers of the year, the Geminids peaks tonight.

It was my wife's birthday today we went into town for dinner then headed back up the mountain and baked some bread. I asked her if she wanted to go outside and watch the stars and she said yes. I made a couple of crown and cokes and put our hoodies on with a blanket spent about an hour outside staring up. Its 30 degrees out. Im 62 and have seen many meteor showers. This is nothing like ive ever seen. And she was amazed as well.

We werent even aware there was going to be a meteor shower, most of the time they are posted. I wasnt aware there would be.

In PA by a large airport tonight picking someone up...saw a HUGE meteor drop into and out of the horizon...biggest thing I've ever seen other than the moon and sun...over the size of an eraser head to my naked eye..thought I honestly imagined it then I heard there was.a shower tonight. Freaky.

The entire pandemic is cover for prepping before the bombardment picks up, dontchaknow...

Was expecting pings and hums but keep hearing police sirens!

Granted, we're in a meteor shower, but this is way off anything I've seen on the live feed.

house next door to me just got swated...was watching from my window steady stream of streaks across the sky never seen so many..

I saw a few driving into work just now.

The Geminids are the best meteor shower of the year. I usually leave town to view it, but did not get to this year.

I did see a few about an hour ago. We had fog and clouds most of the night, but luckily I caught a break in the clouds.

wow that's wild, never heard them sound like an ambulance siren. my drive into work this morning I saw around 4 ..

I swear it sounded like pacman running around.

Fuckin hell. Last night i woke up with a strange sound, it was something like this. I didn't understand where come frome because it was audible just from my room and the bathroom. In my room was very loud in the other rooms was weak. My apartment is very small so i don't understand what it was.

It was around 3.30 AM Paris time

It was just Elon’s starlink nighttime lights show. Moving into a lower orbit for Xmas. Occasionally some do crash and burn!

While I was meteor shower gazing, I noticed something the resembled the ISS, moving slowly in a straight line. Then it disappeared, probably because of its direction.

But the ISS isn't the only light in the sky. There are other satellites and especially in this time of War.
