Bitcoin has no value
NONE. The only reason people buy it is because right now they can still sell it.

Lot of stupid fucking people, and the fact bitcoin has went up so much is indicative of a lot of suckers getting taken to the cleaners, MANY MANY more suckers than winners.

Bitcoin is like a game, and when the time comes the dealer will stack the deck.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33011927

Bitcoin is worth $47,000 right now.

If you had 1 Bitcoin you would not give it to me for anything less than its current market value.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 77424905

Buttcoin is "worth" $47K as long as someone else will pay that in something of value that you actually want. If nobody will pay more than $2 in value of any kind, then nobody will get more than that in exchange when trading it. Its real value is unknown, beyond its ability to cross borders easily(for now) and the fact that it's invisible. Those are the elements of its intrinsic value. It's largely, but not fully fungible.
 Quoting: FeralOne

Something with a price tag of a million dollars that no one wants to buy is worthless. With cyber currency it is easy for this to happen. The price is not what gives anything value, what gives it value is what someone is willing to pay for it.

Right now I wouldnt give you a dime for a bitcoin, because I am nearly certain it will become worthless overnight.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33011927

You're completely ignorant of how economics work.

The only reason Bitcoin has a current value of $48K is because not only are people WILLING to pay that, they ARE paying that.

[link to coinmarketcap.com (secure)]

In fact, in the last 24 hours, almost $28 BILLION dollars worth of Bitcoin has been bought and sold.

I've been trading crypto since 2014, and I've seen countless clown like yourself eat humble pie as Bitcoin has gone from less than $1000 to $48,000 in just 6 years.

When people do not have the money to buy the 10 dollar stick they lower the price to 5.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 66593653

That only occurs in capitalism.

In socialism/communism, the stick still costs 10 dollars, your pay is reduced greatly because of taxes, and you just have to do without the stick.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80426452

communism does not have taxation

It doesn't need to.

You are skimmed, scammed and skinned before you are paid.

WIth socialism the exact opposite is true, the people own everything and share the burden of supporting those who cant support themselves and paying for he services we all need.
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 33011927

"Skimmed and skinned" = heavy taxation

Socialism = heavy taxation to pay for all of those "people who can't support themselves"

You can play Word Salad all you want, but in reality that's the way it works.

I do.
Little ole ignorant me knows

For the "price" to go up 48 items on something that does not in reality even exist or have any intrinsic value, there were 48 times as much money lost by THE SUCKERS as gained by them. There is no other way.

. 48 times the sucker as the winner. It works because greedy people want something for nothing, like all cons

The difference between TRUE socialism and capitalism is with capitalism the producers pay ALL of the dues while the profiteers end up paying nothing, and with socialism the profiteers pay the tax and the producers get a lot more for their money because they are not bearing the whole burden of taxation, they receive services for the profits they produce..

Communism has no "taxation", it is built into the system. The state owns the whole shooting match, including you.

In he USA we have the worst of both worlds really, the state owns everything and we pay all of the dues because the globalist capitalists have the system rigged that way. When the US military can no longer rob weaker countries of their resources and wealth you will soon realize just how sorry this shit really is.

Bitcoin is the classic pyramid scheme with a digital twist. That's it.

All of that money still invested in it can be lost in the blink of an eye, and IT WILL BE.
Like with all pyramid schemes.

Dont be the one left holding the bag.

If you have to speculate in it, do short term in and out trading, AND NEVER with any significant portion of your financial resources. Its a scam , and eventually it will reach it's end date, and most likely that will come when the price and the circulation is way up, the "market cap", LIKE RIGHT NOW DAMNIT
