These stories have really been ramping-up, they will make a move for pets soon, especially dogs- as owning a larger, motivated dog(s) is power, sure as owning a weapon is- Also, 98% of American pets are carnivorous, meaning their survival is contingent upon the slaughter industry, ,which seems to be going bye-bye (which IMO is a good thing, the way we raise animals for slaughter is one of the chief collective karmic offences our society commits- Humanity will be better-off once this practice subsides)... but I pity the fool to tries to take my pup-pup!
