i enjoyed it... but in the same way i enjoyed bladerunner 2

it was a replicant, a reflection of a shadow of the first movie. in fact i would wager he/they got the idea for doing it from bladerunner2. give them more of the same, slightly repackaged with a twist.

to be honest it was better than i expected with a decent script, some great performances.

It was lame; we went on Christmas eve., had the whole theater to ourselves, and I was really disappointed. Lots of shoot 'em up, bang bang, flashing bright light visuals, but not much of anything else.

The last time I went to a movie was when I saw the first Matrix.

Movies have been going down hill since the 1990s ended. Pretty much everything else has been going to hell as well.

basically just a bunch of cutscenes from the previous movie. so many plot holes, you can tell it was rushed. No original ideas in this one, it isn't as "woke" as some people make it out to be, but it is not a very good movie.

Movie was total garbage. I have never in my life been so bored in a movie that i nearly fell asleep but halfway through i was struggling to keep watching. Would have left if it was just me alone but i was with my cousin.

This, I almost fell asleep too. It was a boring, lacking substance, disjointed movie, I'll say that. Nothing like the original.

P.S. Now I wish we had just gone and seen King's Men or Spiderman :)

I heard rumors about how terrible and woke the new matrix movie was. Well I thought certainly it's woke and terrible because all contemporary films are woke and terrible compared to the state of Hollywood 20 years ago. But it can't be that bad.

So I pirated the movie from thepiratebay (stopped paying for garbage years ago) and well grabbed a beer and started the movie...

After a few minutes I couldn't take it anymore. There was this odd edgy short haired Asian lesbian WITH BLUE HAIR stuffed in every scene for no apparent reason. The very obvious woke quota hire. Furthermore the movie was just terrible.

In original matrix we had Morpheus who was super black and a few black dudes. No issue with that because they weren't woke and it felt organic.

But the blue haired lesbian Asian is just one step too far.

What an embarrassment.

The creators also wrote this:
