You don't want war with Russia. They ain't a third world but also not first world country. They know hardship. All folks outside major cities are hardened folks. They can put their entire population in underground shelters.

Yes Russia has a smaller budget compared to US and EU countries. But war with Russia only means that we all go back to the 1600.

They will destroy key infrastructure like the european powergrid by cyberattacks and direct attacks. The European powergrid is fragile.

They will launch anti satelite missiles and create a debrifield destroying other probes around orbit. Say goodbye to GPS systems.

They will hit deep sea internet cables and the shore stations connected to it. Say goodbye to your internet and world economy. Every damn thing is connected to the internet.

Maby even high altitude EMP blasts. Frying all unsecure electronics.

And if all things fail they will use nukes cause they are no match against a combined US/EU force. Economy wise and military wise they cannot match it

Yes they can fubar us real hard. But in conventional way the west will win.

The only thing they need to do is target power infrastructure like electricity and gas. And the west will fall.

You don't want this global scorched earth policy.
