1982 Movies - One of the Greatest Years for Going to the Theater!
Just look at this list of movies! I saw everyone of them in the theater, too.

My favorite weekend was in June 1982 when Star Trek II - The Wrath of Khan and Poltergeist were released.

It was a Friday, and I went to see Poltergeist first around noon.

I was the only one in the theater for that showing. I watched it alone...Poltergeist.

Shit man...that movie fucked me up bad!

Next, I went to see The Wrath of Kahn and my jaw dropped when the Enterprise started getting torched by Kahn.

Just an awesome year for movies. Look at this list. I'm sure 1985 is a great year for films, too.

Those days were just amazing and the likes will never be seen again.

Cannery Row
Quest for Fire
Swamp Thing
Conan the Barbarian
Dead Men Don’t Wear Plaid
Rocky III
Poltergeist
Star Trek II – The Wrath of Khan

This is the scene that warped my mind in Poltergeist.

And this is the scene that dropped my jaw in Star Trek II - The Wrath of Kahn

Poltergeist still my favorite non-Star Wars film

I even like PII, but PIII is pretty bad :(
