i've got a picture from the tao about the wheel of time to give you a better idea of time itself

So you got a really old wheel that they used to use for thread. It's about 3 feet in diameter okay?

All along it is colored wooden beads from top of wheel to bottom of it.

The wheel itself rotates from left to right. The beads in the middle mostly stay in place both on the "top" (light side) and bottom (dark side).

Every click is a new addition to the very top or very bottom with a new wooden bead for either side in whatever (slots) are then opened up.

The beads are a part of the wheel and drop in place when the time is right (or needed.) So light beads and dark beads dropping in place when something is done or needed. They become the new "top" or catalysts for their side. Or, they could also just be supports and anchors for the current time or a future time when they get bumped down (or up) a few times and work their way into the proper flow of things to come eventually.

So what we have is a wheel of beads with threads going top to bottom with many different color beads and with the foundation or cornerstone around the middle. New beads come on top, or bottom, to fill when needed.

That my friends is time. Time exists because of action and causality.
