If you're computer isn't making money then you're doing it wrong.

I'm tired of all the gaming GPU's, I use Davinci Resolve and Vegas Pro and other video content creation software and post production software VFX. I need a GPU that will enhance this sector of the market by reducing render time, work with multiple video streams and run video without stuttering. I do not need a card that sucks up 300 watts, how about a content creation card that can work under 50 watts? Damn basement dwelling gamers and their crap, people that really work need a solution.

Video displays are going the way with organic LEDs which is saying to me, built in obsolescence as OLEDs have a burn in problem which effects longevity. I don't want to invest in a new monitor every two years like a workstation.

A 34" curved one with a 3840x2160 4K resolution, 240Hz refresh rate with a 1ms response time.

But it will probably run you around $2,500 and the best GPU out there now might not cut it

in my main pc i have a radeon r9 390x 8gb and i was looking to upgrade...

but there is nothing better specs wise, that's worth the money, i could save a few watts by paying hundreds.. but that's it.

it's like the gpu has hit its bottleneck with the technology.

that is a 32" monitor, not 34"
but the 240Hz refresh rate makes it tempting

I just saw on FOX how BBerry is moving to control the DATA GATHERING IN CARS....SO U could not get into a car of the future and NOT BE TRACKED OR MARKED FOR ACCESS as your body is a receptor to the WORLD WATCHERS....

GPU's will continue to be a problem because of Ethereum. They are working hard to stop mining ETH and switch to proof of stake but its gonna take 6 months at least.

Hopefully AMD will trickle out more 3d vcache sku's soon. But super happy still with my 5950x + 6900xt AMD version. Was very fortunate to score that.

Damn nvidia is tone deaf right now. Guess that's why the 3090 ti(e) only got a whopping 15 secs of "air time".

For me it's ips panels and their bs claims of 1ms. Those panels give me severe eye strain and fatigue. 144 hz TN panel all the way for me. Color isn't too bad after adjustments. And REAL 1ms gray to gray.

INTC had a strong showing, but that is of more interst to investors rather than basement dwelling PC nerd bros.

tbh. the new GPU's are getting only a little bit more hash rates than the 5 year old gpu's and that's with the hash limit bypass.

At one point in time in my life. I was completely on top of the latest technology. MFM drives, RLL drives, scsi 1 and scsi 2 drives. Raid drives and remember when stacker was a software doubler.
Well I'm dating myself. I've been around from the TRS80 apple and comodore pet, SDS100 and PDP 11.
My cell phone has more features than anything back in the day.
IF I could play a good game at a decient frame rate. IT was all I asked.
I'm sure you guys are doing more than I need to do on the computer end. But 1600 for a GPU is what a motherboard cost back in the day. On top of $3K for a half decient computer desktop. Or double for a high-end machine to run compilers.
Monochrome vs cga, RGB to VGA 8 bit and 16 bit, Then brought a video port just for a graphic card, and other graphic platforms.

1050 ti and i still can play most games at high level. just got a VR so i cant speak for that experience yet since i am waiting to put my guts in this new case.
