Police say a mother and her 1-year-old were shot in a Texas Walmart parking lot after her 2-year-old took a handgun and fired it accidentally.

I call bullshit on this one. Even if the pistol had a trigger safety a two-year old's hands aren't large enough to hold a pistol and discharge it.

The other thing is, how did the child reach the center console when it should have been in a car seat?
