Parents and pregnant parents STAY OUT OF THE HOSPITALS

OP I am horrified you went through such a dehumanizing denial of your parental rights

Yep and I wanted that but my husband wanted him to get checked out. People need educated and reality checks.

My husband and his family are still arguing with me that the home is dirty and unsterile. I’m like WHAT?? A hospital is clean???!

My husband and his family and my parents are all saying he hospital is right that outside of the hospital is dirty and they needed to check him. Only you gLP people seem to have any sense of reality.

I was told by a total bitch nurse that worked at children's hospital that denying the test and having my personal dr do it later.....was illegal!

I told her it was not and stood strong.

She brought cps to my room. I won with them too though.

It's like they are told to say "it's against the law"

When i wanted to leave they told me “You can go but your baby can’t.” I came there for medical care and they ended up taking authority over my kid and telling me ro Leave eventually.

To separate a mom and baby is SICK and we all know it. The hospitals are just extensions of the government now.

The 1st day Ii was angry. The 2nd day i was sad and crying because I missed my kids.
The 3rd day they broke me mentally. Saying I wasn’t a patient anymore and would have to leave my baby there. And could only visit once a day because of covid.

He wasn’t in the NICU. He wasn’t diagnosed with or born with any problems.

They just tried to separate a mom and baby for observation purposes. It’s only by gods grace they didn’t need the room for another pregnant person so they “let me” breastfeed my own child. And “they let me” stay with my 3 day old child.

Alot of dads on GLP with babies coming. Be warned men. They won’t let you in the hospital if your wife goes. Only one of you can go and they will force a covid test on you.

Yeah well now I'm gonna say it. That hospital would be gone , baby and all if that happened to me but for God's sake you have birth at home and did what?

My dream was a home birth but yeah in these times there would be no way I'd be able to do that them hand my kid over.

And everyone is going to have opinions. Family especially. Just let it go.

And once you bring the baby to the hospital they will want to run tests on him since they are liable now. Try not to get too mad.

If he is healthy great. If there was something wrong the hospital would find it. Just be happy you had a wonderful home birth and your boy has gotten checked out and is healthy. It’s going to be ok.

So just get ready to bring him home and be happy.

Thats what authority figures do alot, in such situations you really need to know your rights.

They depend on people not understanding what authority is allowed to do. These people can say anything is law, and they know most people will not really know, or just be accepting of the person in authority telling them its so.

Not saying they are lying, just that in your position, you need to know what legally the hospital can do, and what under law they cannot.

Only idiots would go to a hospital anymore.
