Later they figured they could do away with God as the middleman and make their state the new godhead, hence the events of the modern era. The true word of God is written upon your heart, not by any hand, not of any church, not from any pretender prophet. Listen in silence and reverence and you will hear it. Read the Bible to be inspired, as not even the corruption of men's scheming can completely efface God's Word. Just read it using your heart and not your eyes. Allow no interlopers, no priests, no scholars between you and the divine.
