In different political context they would be neat but they feel gimmicky. Less like Teddy Roosevelt coin renaissance and more like the high school activist club took over the mint. It's cool to honor women but here it feels so phony. At least the quarters look good and not ugly like the innovation dollars with all the dead space on the obverse and huge signature on the reverse.

I liked the state quarters and state parks. The Sacagawea dollars were cool, especially when they added variety to the reverses. The president dollars had quality issues. They came from the mint spotted and scratched. The "first spouse" coins could have really been popular if they hadn't all been half ounce of gold.
