For what its worth....
I went through the same thing when I was younger.
By the time I reached my early 40s, the drive began to subside.
By 45, it was totally gone, and I no longer felt sorrow and loss from having no children.
I really believe what you are feeling is nothing but chemistry working against your better judgement.
At 59, I thank God every day I never fathered children. This world today is very non conducive for children, and the potential for misery and great sorrow grows stronger and stronger every year for the up coming generations.
I find great peace and tranquility these days embracing the simple pleasures out of life.
Being single offers great financial Independence. The drama factor simply does not exist in my life.
Wishing you your wish OP, but seriously contemplate my advice. marriage, children, and all other stuff society dictates you be does not always really flow as it seems.
If you outlive the biochemistry that's trying to destroy your life, you'll be rewarded with a life most men later dream about.
Quoting: Anonymous Coward 72250778 Thank You, I appreciate the advice, maybe it is but damn I’m going to be sad for a long time. Quoting: NeoWolf My situation was controlled by matters not in my hands. Hopefully you'll have more freedom and leeway to choose your own path. Good Luck,
