The societal effects of Covid dwarf its clinical effects

The social effects from the measures to control Covid will have deeper and longer-lasting effects than the clinical effects (deaths, sickness).

The worst effect is the exponentially grown polarization.

That's why I, in spite of being a fully vaccinated mask wearer, have been and still am against all forced measures. Masks, vaccines... forcing them on the population or even shaming those who refuse them is going to cause more damage than the virus itself.
