In theory it is possibly for a vaxxed or naturally immune dog to still shed virus after an exposure. However it is unlikely to be in sufficient quantity to easily cause disease in other [unvaccinated] dogs for several reasons...lower viral load, maternal antibodies ( BIG reason to NOT start vaccinating puppies before 8 weeks of age or even a little later), and just helping to keep the environmental transmission low.
