We've had lots of strange aircraft around in Charlotte, NC lately. Long convoys of large passenger planes being escorted by fighters way up in the atmosphere. One after the other all day long. Then there are rows of passenger jets all flying the same direction evenly spaced apart laterally.

Very strange. And just a couple days ago I saw what appeared to be a B-1 bomber fly right up behind a passenger jet and cross it's contrail at close range.

Something is going on up there that isn't normally happening. Not chemtrails. Not ufo's or meteors. But something.

Hmmm...looks like there is a spaceport in Virginia, don't know about N.C. Maybe they are evacuating earth before we nuke each other to oblivion?

But seriously, here's some interesting stuff...

Spaceport locations according to wiki: The space tourism industry is being targeted by spaceports in numerous locations, including California, Oklahoma, New Mexico, Florida, Virginia, Alaska, Esrange in Sweden and Wisconsin, as well as Singapore and the United Arab Emirates.

Also, from wiki:
Several plans have been proposed for using a space station as a hotel. American motel tycoon Robert Bigelow has acquired the designs for inflatable space habitats from the Transhab program abandoned by NASA. His company, Bigelow Aerospace already launched the first inflatable habitat module named Genesis I in 12 July 2006. The second test module, Genesis II was launched 28 June 2007. It is also currently planning to launch a prototype space station module by late 2008, and plans to officially launch the first commercial space station by 2010 (tagged Nautilus) which will have 330 cubic meters (almost as big as the ISS's 425 cubic meters of usable volume).

Also from Wiki info on NIDS and Robert Bigelow:
NIDS was founded in 1995 by real-estate developer Robert Bigelow, who set it up to research and advance serious study of various fringe science, protoscience, and paranormal topics, most notably ufology. Deputy Administrator Colm Kelleher, Ph.D. is quoted as saying the organization is not designed to study UFO's only. "We don't study aliens, we study anomalies."

The National Institute for Discovery Science was founded by Robert Bigelow as a way to channel funds into the proper scientific study of paranormal phenomena. They have done extensive research into the area of cattle mutilation and also became the FAA's sole recipient for black triangle reports. In 2002, NIDS issued a report which said the black triangles were U.S. military prototype blimps, a finding agreed to by other experts but not confirmed by the military.

Most famously they bought Skinwalker Ranch, when the news started breaking about it in 1996, and Deputy Administrator Colm Kelleher led the investigation for a number of years. A hotline was established in 1999 to receive reports of odd occurrences. Over 5,000 calls and emails have come in to the organization. Officials say many are explained as missile test launches and meteors. Of those reports that have come in, several hundred remain unexplained.

Due to their rather opaque nature, rumors have circulated (predominantly online) about the NIDSci. These largely revolve around their alleged connections with the military-industrial complex, with some even suggesting they are a CIA front organization. However, others, especially those in the UFO community, say they have proved a great help in funding investigations.
