As early as yesterday, Putin said the acceptance of any more nations into the NATO alliance would "cross all of Russia's red lines", and he seems to be serious. Russia may invade Sweden, Ukraine (and possibly the rest of Georgia) as a pre-emptive national security measure to ensure that they don't join NATO. |

Now there's a large number of amphibious landing ships near Sweden at a time when 100,000+ troops are massed on the Ukraine border and Russia's leadership has declared it's "patience has finally run out".
