My guess is they're not actually empty.

It's probably how the government in cahoots with immigration groups are flying "refugees " around the world. The taxpayers are probably paying the airlines for the service and keeping the airlines subsidized and operating.

Probably drugs in the cargo hold too.

I’ve flown on a number of flights that were deserted. Some across the Atlantic, some around Europe.

The thing is, from Belgium, yes, they had a flight full of Africans. Full (to DC). But I’ve sat on plenty more flights that were practically empty, some before covid.

Lift the travel and jab bans, and like magic, flights will fill up again.

DUH!

I'm not flying ever again until freedom is back in style, and that's worldwide. Otherwise, I'm staying home in the US for the rest of my life.

Thousands of planes from some of Europe’s biggest airlines have been forced to fly empty planes in order to keep their prized departure and landing times at major airports.

Europe’s second biggest carrier, Lufthansa reports it had to operate 18,000 ‘ghost flights’ over the winter.

Every day, thousands of empty planes are flying around the world, as flight radars show.

Almost a year ago, end of Feb, my son flew from Newark or JFK, I forget which at this point, to Thailand, where he is an English and History teacher. The flight went to Japan and then another to Bangkok.

The plane from the USA was one of those huge ones that hold 700 or 800 people and he was one of four- 4- yes only 4- passengers.

It was pretty much the same from Japan.

He heard the same thing- the routes are contracted with the government, not with the airports. And they only way to keep a popular route you don't want to lose is to keep flying the planes.

I call bullshit AGAIN.

Ive been on international flights pre pandamic and after.

ive sat at the terminal and watched the planes being checked, loaded and stocked.

Ive also have had the pleasure many times of getting off the plane OUTSIDE the terminal and taking a shuttle to inside the terminal.

Its alwys the same..which was not enough ticket holders arriving on time .

what you see on tv & in the movies is just that; fantasy.
Many people never catch their flight and no way in hell will a jumbo airliner that holds 900 people take off carrying only 4 passengers.

I guess they booked chemitrails in advance and they can't stop spraying us just like that. Otherwise we would just rebel against masters again.

Why nOt fly from China to the US transporting goods? And as a reward you get to keep your times at the airports when you have actual people to fly??

The airlines dont,,,,

in fact

The entire industry has never made a profit when looking back to day one.

As Bob Crandall CEO of American Airlines once said----“It’s a great place to work and it’s a great company [AA] that does important work. But airlines are not an investment,”

I have to disagree on this.... traveling all through this covid BS I have been on numerous airplanes with more crew than paying passengers... in the US and Intnl too.

I was also traveling during SARS--part 1 and it was even worse.

Maybe we should give them another bailout?

[Article below from 2020]

Why Do the Airlines Need a Bailout?

“They made a fortune over the past decade. Now they’re demanding $50 billion to stay in business.

If Washington doesn’t do something, all U.S. airlines are going under.

That was the message that industry lobby Airlines for America delivered on Monday, arguing that under the most likely scenario, all seven major U.S. passenger carriers would run out of money between July and December. The group asked for $50 billion in assistance from the federal government, divided evenly between grants (free money) and low-interest loans.

It has been a little more than two years since American Airlines CEO Doug Parker told investors, in an instant business school cautionary tale, “I don’t think we’re ever going to lose money again.” How time flies when a viral pandemic ravages the earth“ [less than 50%]

Re: Major Airlines Forced To Fly Empty ‘Ghost Flights’ to Keep Departure and Landing Times at Major Airports.
it's impossible to comprehend the malice

it's like the hotels, they will still charge $200 a night when they have 2% occupancy , ALL the hotels do this.

why aren't they selling cheap tickets if these flights are empty, or letting people fly for free?

you will say 'nay nay nay, nothings free', well, they certainly could just as well fill those tens of thousands of empty flights with people.

only party members matter

why you think it's called 'human resources' and 'health and human services'

why do they always use that term 'human'. as opposed to WHAT?

who the hell calls people 'humans'?

THINK ABOUT IT!! you don't have much time left.

help me,

All that extra pollution for nothing... this policy has got to go. And it will as more and more airlines get to this point.

This is the new shape of things to come.

Normal ain't coming back... Jesus is. Be ready!

Delta flys empty all the time. They need an ac in another station it will fly empty as a fairy flight. 9900 flt # and usually 8800 flt numbers.
