Pravda stated that the Russian nuclear submarine was of the Borey project which carries 16 Bulava ballistic missiles, each capable of carrying up to 10 nuclear warheads. Taken from Defcon Level Warning System: [ link to www.defconlevel.com (secure)] I would believe there is always Russian and Chinese subs off the U.S. coast same as there is always American and U.K. subs off the Russian and Chinese coast.
