Gaffer Tape - Essential Item For When TSH'sTF

We always carried a roll of 90mph tape in the army.....everything from patching equipment to first aid.....

What is "Gaffer Tape"?

Gaffer tape is NOT waterproof.

Gaffer tape is what they use in holy weird when they're on location and they need something taped temporarily. It's very strong tape but it doesn't leave anything on the wall or take the paint off. Gaffer tape is very different from duct tape.

Gaffer's tape is the correct spelling. Cloth type, fairly strong. Like painters blue tape only much stronger. 164ft. will run you about $40.00. When SHTF you are going to want duct tape, as this stuff is just not cut out for heavy/outdoor applications. Available wherever fine tapes are sold.

I like the gorilla tape for my bugout bag....the come in small roll the size of hockey pucks and waaaaaay stronger and stickier than duct tape.....

Its what pro bands, sound techs, TV studios use to tape down microphone cables and such. Leaves nothing behind like Duct tape will but holds tight and pulls right back up

Its not the strongest tape around but thats not what its designed for. Works great for things such as holding old books together to a office chair repair. Has like a fabric backing, hard to explain. Thousands of uses and nothing else will do what Gaffer tape does.

Truly, every household needs a roll but if one is not in the industry you could go a lifetime and never even see a roll.

I love that shit. Used it when I was a grip. That shits EXPENSIVE though.

Doesn't use a rubber based adhesive so it won't leave residue. Good stuff!

I have made a couple of weapons with - poles, knives and gaffer tape.

If you tape it up real tight there is no way it will budge.

'suppose you could. Still, I'd rather use duct, especially if it's a weapon.

And if you ever needed to immobilize someone ie. Tie them up/shut them up, gaffer tape is the go. It sticks really well to itself

You should work for the company, you would make a great salesman.

Or sell my own gaffer tape line - 'Dexter Tape'
