Just the opposite, I think about my future life :)

It's not something we can grasp, just like getting old after being young your whole life. Having said that we must prepare though and get right with God.

I think about it every day. I give thanks for still being alive. I truly hope to do more of value while I'm still incarnated.

Nah, I don't die. But I do think about my flesh being discarded and I usually think..meh. It's done it's job, I suppose.

Life is so much bigger than the reality we are currently in. And much more pleasant, if you've learned the lessons and/or done the job you came here for so...meh!

Every time I got deployed I knew My Number was up.

Now I've been Retired 18 years, I think about all of my Combat buddies I've lost, some 31 years ago.

I'm an old fuck. I think of it when I have time. It would sure stop all the pain I suffer.

Body and mind... it's hard to watch all you grew up with and knew from work pass away leaving you here alone waiting for your time to join them again.

I know it’s inevitable , but I hope it’s a surprise. I just hope it’s not 80+ in some home withering away. I would hope my bad desicions would have doomed me by then.

Oh well. I already think it was a good life, so I can’t complain.

There is such a thing as death meditation. People that did it say to not worry about death, you'll leave through it.

It is such a powerful feeling at any age to realize that all you thought was significant and important means zero the moment you cease to exist.

Poof, gone, no more. If you're lucky, family and a few friends will mourn your loss for a few days, a month later you probably don't enter their thoughts.

Great post. Great question. And YES it is very important and something that could potentially be THE most important to this particular reality.

"coincidentally" tonight's upload from a very aware person that questions this reality quite nicely... the topic is DEATH. What is it really?
