OMG! Snow in winter. I'm gonna bet Toronto has seen two feet of snow more than once and has come through just fine.

Been a while since this has happened. Broke a 1966 record today.

I was shoveling three feet of snow in some places because of snow drifts. The end of my drive way has three feet of snow. I don't know how I am going to shove that shit. I am only a scrawny female.

So am I.Usually I have to do it myself so bf can get up the driveway comming home from work.Thankfully he's not working now so I had help. It's back breaking work, especiallly when your in your late 50's.
I hope the wind doesn't blow it all back on the driveway.

I was out shoveling earlier in a nearby city and there were lots of ambulance sirens going off during the 45 minutes or so I was shoveling.

I think a lot of people are dying today with heart attacks and strokes cause its the first big snowfall since people got vaccinated and people are croaking while shoveling.

I went out and shoveled today for an hour despite the start of a tingling cough in my chest. Didn't get my car out but did get lots of fresh air into my lungs. Feel 100% better.

Streetcars on King St. downtown totally stranded. You don't see that every day.
I've seen them stop working because it was -30 and the tracks had a hard time changing back if one of the streetcars diverted.
But I've never seen them lined up like that.

 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 68357957

I hope they don't all try to leave at the same time when the street is finally cleared. The trolley wire will be glowing cherry red from all the excess current if they aren't careful about it.

This year the weather has been weird in southern Ontario. I was walking around in a sweater on Friday and it was about +4C (around 40F) and then on Sunday it was -18C (around 0F) and then today we got dumped on with snow, but it was back up to more normal -4C (24F).

The whole season has been like this though. Warm days that feel like spring, and then freezing cold days, and then a day or two of normal temperatures, and then back to warm, cold, repeats.

Its usually pretty solid cold from November to April, rarely do we get several days in a row with above freezing temperatures.

I use [link to www.ventusky.com (secure)] and there are always weird patterns that unfold nowadays. I think it is weather modification weapons.
