Many people dont realize it but America was allies w Germany pre-WW2. We were setup to fall along side them, Just that England never expected Germany to bomb them as quick they did. So UK called on the USA, the country that was supposed to fall with them, to :"bring aid and supplies". Hitler had no choice but to attack our supply convoys in the Atlantic eventually leading to a side change.
